Our Technology - Capabilities

____________________________________________________________________

Compliance
As a consumer reporting agency, Inquest operates in full compliance with the Federal Fair Credit Report Act (FCRA) and the California Investigative Consumer Reporting Agencies Act (ICRAA). In addition, Inquest's order system has the ability to automatically generate consumer notifications as required by state and federal laws.

Integration
Using XML technology, Inquest has the ability to seamlessly integrate with our client's Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Applicant information can be entered directly into the client's HRIS and the information will be automatically transferred into Inquest's system. This gives our client's management team the ability to implement a fully outsourced solution which is transparent at the branch or user level. Adding to this transparency, Inquest also has the ability to customize the web interface with our customer's logo and matching corporate colors.

Flexibility

Ordering & Fulfillment
I.Q. -Inquest's Intelligent Online Employee Screening Solution- has the flexibility to accept and fulfill customer's orders through five different channels: Web interface, e-mail, fax, phone, and XML transfer. This creates greater efficiency by preventing our clients from having to rearrange the work flow of their business processes in order to effectively outsource the screening function.

Bundled Packages
By providing management with the ability to predefine custom packages, order placing at the branch level is both streamlined and standardized. Management can determine which services are included in each package and the name of each package. If more flexibility is desired at the branch level, management can simply determine which services they would like listed in a menu format for users to select from on an order by order basis. At any time a user may add any available Inquest service from the additional services section.

Control
I.Q. provides for multiple levels of access based on specific login permissions. Access rights range from full administration privileges for the Corporate System Administrator to Order Entry privileges only for a Data Entry

Corporate Users
Corporate Users can place orders and view results for multiple branches depending on individual access rights. The Corporate System Administrator also has the ability to add, delete and set access rights for users at any branch or at the corporate level.

Branch Users
Branch Users can only place orders and view results for their own branch. The Branch System Administrator also has the ability to add, delete and set access rights user at his/her own branch.

Notifications

Order Confirmation
Once the user places the orders, the system will generate an immediate, real-time order confirmation e-mail notification which indicates to the user that Inquest has started processing the order.

Completion Notification
When an order gets completed, the system generates an order completion notification. This alerts the user that they can login to the web interface and check the inbox for the newly completed order.

Discrepancies
If a discrepancy arises in verifying an applicant's education or employment or a criminal record is identified in checking the applicant's background, the system provides a real-time e-mail alert notification to the user. Once the user logs into the web interface, the applicant report clearly indicates the discrepancy with a red alert flag. This makes the decision-making process easier, and helps end-users to avoid costly mistakes.

Delays
If a delay arises, an email notification is sent to the user providing the reason for the delay and an ETA (estimated time of completion). The user can log into the system and view an in-process report where locations that are delayed display a note in red indicating the reason for the delay and an ETA.

Custom Reports
Inquest can create any custom reports or notifications to meet ad hoc requirements of the client. A few examples of the available reports and notifications are listed below:

  • Turnaround time for a time period
  • Turnaround time by branch
  • Number of backgrounds ran in any given time period
  • Orders with criminal records for quality assurance purpose
  • Orders executed for a particular location
  • Average Cost
  • Additional information needed notification
  • Drug screen specimen received
  • Delay Notification

Billing
I.Q. offers a great deal of flexibility with the invoice module. Billing can be sent to each individual branch, a division, or to the corporate office for processing. The invoice report can be customized to meet the client's specific needs. Billing can be broken down by branch, division, user, and/or billing code. When an order is placed, the user has the ability to input a customized parameter such as: Billing code, client name, reference number, or requisition number. This helps to facilitate the processing of invoices by Accounts Payable. Invoices can be sent via mail, email, fax or in any electronic format for uploading into an AP system.
