The National Bureau of Investigation receives records from the local courts, prosecutors’ offices, and complaints directly filed with the NBI. As mandated by law, the National Bureau of Investigation is the official depository of the records ( i.e. resolutions, information, decisions, warrant of arrest, recall of warrant of arrest etc.) from the courts and other judicial bodies (Sandiganbayan, Ombudsman and Tanodbayan).
